| Bio | I am becoming accustomed to calling myself a writer, although publication still eludes me. I have completed a third draft of my first novel and crafted many short stories. Since committing to a writing routine and “putting myself out there” I have been shortlisted twice for the MornPen Mayors Short Story Awards, received two special commendations in the PWC WIR comp and have twice cracked the elusive AWC Furious Fiction Longlist. My mantra is that 2026 is THE year as I undertake a Kill Your Darlings mentorship and hopefully can begin to pitch my novel to publishers or agents. Wish me luck!! |

| What are your long term goals? | To have short stories published and to publish my first novel |
| What is your writing regime? | I currently have three days a week to write and try to write for 2-3 hours on those days. I do need better discipline! |
