| Bio | I’m a Melbourne-based independent writer and creative working across fiction, music, video and interactive storytelling. My main interest is romance written from a male point of view, particularly stories built around secure connection, mutual commitment and the experience of being clearly chosen by another person. I’m interested in relationships where the bond itself feels safe and dependable, while the drama comes more from the world around the couple than from repeated break-ups, jealousy or uncertainty about whether they love each other. I also enjoy combining romance with science fiction, fantasy and adventure. My background is in technology, and much of my current work explores newer forms of storytelling such as visual novels, interactive fiction and AI-assisted creative tools. |

| Why Do You Write? | I’m interested in exploring romance from a male point of view, especially the emotional experience of secure attachment: being chosen, knowing where you stand with someone, and building a relationship in which affection and commitment are not constantly under threat. I like stories where the relationship provides a secure centre and the adventure, conflict and uncertainty happen largely outside it. |

| What are you currently working on? | I’m developing a romantic science-fiction visual novel centred on relationships that are emotionally secure from relatively early in the story. I’m interested in how attraction, commitment and intimacy can continue to develop without relying on repeated relationship conflict to keep the story interesting. I also write and produce songs and music videos exploring similar ideas, and I’m experimenting with interactive storytelling as a way of making fictional relationships feel more immediate and immersive. |
| What are your long term goals? | To develop Glass Veil into a body of romance and speculative fiction aimed primarily at men, spanning written stories, visual novels, music and interactive experiences. I’d like to explore stories in which secure romantic connection can coexist with adventure, science fiction and fantasy, with the relationship acting as a source of stability rather than the main source of instability. |
| What is your writing regime? | I work creatively most days and tend to move between writing scenes and dialogue, developing characters, making music and building visual sequences. My process is iterative. I’ll often create a scene, live with it for a while, work out what feels convincing or unconvincing, and then revise it. |
