Luz Restrepo

I am a social entrepreneur, storyteller, and community builder. After arriving in Australia as a political refugee, I founded SisterWorks, Migrant Women in Business, and Village Business to create spaces and provide tools for migrant women and small business owners to strengthen their capacity and grow on their own terms.

Now living part-time on the Mornington Peninsula, I’ve joined this group to find inspiration and begin writing the stories of my journey in Australia. I’m passionate about highlighting the resilience and contributions of migrants, as well as the potential and impact of entrepreneurs and small business owners, to foster stronger, more connected communities.
