Bio

I’m a writer, researcher, audiobook narrator and PhD student from the fringes of south-east Melbourne. When not pottering in the garden, I’m producing audiobooks, studying and writing about philosophy (and life), or cooking up hare-brained schemes. Or cleaning up after my inventive daughters …
I’ve had work published in academic journals and am a trainee on the editorial committee for the Journal of Continental Philosophy. My fiction writing involves a novella titled ‘The Fault Lines Founding Liberty’ (Wipf & Stock 2020). I enjoy solo writing and also find generative collaborations very fulfilling. PS. I still feel awkward about writing a bio.

Genre

General Fiction, Kids Books, Non Fiction

Why Do You Write?

I can't not write! Writing is thinking; it's carving out space for myself in the ongoing challenge of figuring out life.

Have you been published before?

Yes

If yes, where have you been published?

Wipf & Stock (2020, 2021); Eternity News; Sydney Review of Books (forthcoming). Academic journals: Colloquium (ANZATS); Mission Studies (bk review); Journal of Contemporary Ministry (bk review); Practical Theology (bk review); Logos: Journal of the World Publishing Community (forthcoming).

What are you currently working on?

A NaNoWriMo novel (to be published as an email serial), my PhD and translating a short article by Hegel from German into English …

To hone my craft both in writing and audiobook production and narrating, and to be a positive, kind and contributing member of the Australian writers community – and humanity in general!

Whatever fits around the kids!
