Name	Toni Morgan
Bio	I am so glad to be joining this group! I have been a writer since I was very young, and remember writing my first poem at seven. Now, I write poetry, and am attempting some children’s books. I have a few picture book manuscripts I am working on and a Middle Grade fiction bubbling away. I studied some creative writing (with a minor in children’s literature) a few years ago, but need a good prod to keep going!

Why Do You Write?	I think I tell stories on a daily basis to everyone – my children, my husband, and anyone up for a chat. I process things through retelling, and like most people, find writing very cathartic! But overall, I think when words are in the right order, they evoke emotions in the right people at the right time and that is magic!
Have you been published before?	Yes
If yes, where have you been published?	I had a single poem published in the Westerly Magazine in 2024.
What are you currently working on?	I am currently working on a few picture book manuscripts, and a Middle Grade Fiction.
What are your long term goals?	To continue writing, improve my craft and hopefully get a picture book out into the world!
What is your writing regime?	Whenever I get time around my family. I write every Tuesday at the Mornington Library, and attend Write Night with Writers Victoria online.
