| Name | Susan Parritt |
| Preferred public name | Sue Parritt |
| Bio | Originally from England, and now living in Mount Martha, Sue worked in Australian university libraries until taking early retirement in 2008 to concentrate on writing novels. Since then, Sue has had twelve novels published. Sue’s latest novel, The Evolution of Goodwife Judith, will be published by Next Chapter later this year. The novel focuses on retiree, Judith, 78, as she explores and embraces the liberty of widowhood in present-day Melbourne. The Evolution of Goodwife Judith offers a challenge to elderly women: abandon the life advocated by close family to become a fully-fledged liberated individual. Passionate about peace and social justice, Sue’s goal as a writer is to incorporate these issues into her fiction, and to keep writing for many years to come.
