Our 2022 timetable of workshops, meetups + events
COVID safe gatherings
We respect the health decisions of all and the health and safety of all of our members and guests are of utmost importance. Each of our events are COVID Safe Plan compliant and we ask our participants to adhere to our venue’s health and safety measures that are in place at the time, including vaccine requirements, QR code check-in, face-masks, physical distancing and any assistance in maintaining venue hygiene and cleanliness in line with Victorian Government requirements.
Cancellation Policy
All bookings are confirmed upon full payment to Peninsula Writers’ Club.
Refunds
Bookings that are cancelled by the purchaser will be refunded in accordance with the timeframes below:
- Within 5 days of the event – no refund
- Within 6 – 10 days of the event – 50% refund
- Over 10 days before the event – full refund (less applicable merchant processing fee)
Cancellations
Peninsula Writers’ Club reserves the right to cancel any activity due to lack of bookings, venue or public safety changes up to two days prior to an event or workshop.

Our workshops for 2022 have been seed-funded with thanks to a Mornington Peninsula Shire Creative Community Grant, and others are in partnership with Mornington Peninsula Shire and Writers’ Victoria.

Peninsula Writers’ Club writing meet-ups occur at community centres and secret haunts.
Monthly Write In’s at Seawinds Community Hub – members only
10am – 2pm. Bring your own morning tea and lunch. Fee covered in your membership fees. Write at your own pace, with quiet scheduled writing time and be motivated by the company of others, and hear all the latest news and opportunities. Establish your own sense of accountability, connection and inspiration. Hang out with fellow writers on the Mornington Peninsula. Catch up chats happen at lunchtime and during cuppa breaks.
Seahorse Cafe is currently closed – BYO lunch or visit off-site cafes. WiFi available.
Please bring your mask if that’s what makes you feel comfortable and ensure you comply with all venue requests for COVID safety.
Bookings essential for member’s (your fee covered in your membership), please click on event links below to ensure your complementary member booking.
Photos will be taken at all PWC events and used to promote our activities with the wider community via social media, our website and electronic communication. Anyone who does not wish for their photo to be taken and/or used for these purposes is to inform a member of the Committee or the host of the event upon arrival.

Night Write’s at Mt Martha House – members only
6:30-8:30pm on the 2nd Thursday of the month.
Extra cost of $2 gold coin entry. Write in company for two hours of power writing.
