Announcing the Inaugural Mayor’s Writing Award

 

Peninsula Writers’ Club is delighted to share this exciting news alongside Mornington Peninsula Shire.

The Mayor’s Writing Award aims to encourage and support Mornington Peninsula writers of all abilities, celebrate our diverse talent and showcase local stories and voices.

We are even more thrilled to welcome our esteemed judges ABC journalist and author Paul Kennedy, award-winning crime author Garry Disher – author and YA / Middle Grade author and Jacinta di Mase Management agent Danielle Binks.

Successful entries will win substantial cash and writer in residency prizes, funded by Mornington Peninsula Shire.

With thanks to Farrells Bookshop Antipodes Bookshop & Gallery Rosebud Book Barn Petersen’s Bookstore – Hastings Victoria for their generous support with prizes.
