Join us in The Shed at The Pig & Whistle on 10th September as members of Peninsula Writers’ Club take to the stage to deliver spoken word pieces they’ve prepared to the theme of ‘Destinations’.

Family, friends, and the community are welcome to this exciting inaugural Story Slam open mic event from 5pm. Enjoy pizza and drinks at bar prices, then take your seat and enjoy an evening of story-sharing as our members compete for a place on our perpetual trophy. Clap, cheer, laugh, maybe even shed a tear – our story slammers aim to move you with their words.
